WTOC 2016: Latvia

Latvia is, clearly, one of the countries where the TrailO has more evolved in recent years, Guntars Mankus and his PreO world title (Italy, 2014) being the peak of this evolution. Mankus wasn't at his level this year, but had in Janis Rukšans an great substitute.

+ With a bronze medal achieved in the PreO competition, Open Class, Janis Rukšans was the head figure of Latvian team in Strömstad.

- Looking on the results achieved in the three previous editions (three positions in the top 10, including the PreO world title in 2014), the performance of Guntars Mankus turns out to be quite disappointing.
